Potser no va passar aims to be a piece of collective memory, where, through the fusion of home movies with letters and postcards from different sources, the image of an imaginary and subjective, but also truthful and reliable past is created.
This project gives rise to a reflection on the passage of time, how it affects our way of living and understanding the world, understanding the past as a part of our lives that will never happen again, but which, fortunately, we can relive from memories.
Made from the subjective point of view of memory, from which the title Potser no va passar comes from, each person lives their experiences in their own way and this delimits the memories. From the same situation, two people who have lived through it together can have different memories, appealing to feelings they do not share.
This reflection makes me wonder if there really is a collective memory, or a memory that encompasses everyone, since everything that happens is subjective to the person. And not only in terms of personal identity, but also in terms of time. Over time, memories change. Memory is not static.
