EINA, the University School of Design and Art of Barcelona, is a centre that forms part of the Autonomous University of Barcelona (UAB) and through which it manages the Erasmus+, UAB exchange, and SICUE mobility programmes. STAY is an EINA-specific programme.
Incoming mobility at EINA can be carried out during one of the two semesters of the academic year or during an entire year, depending on available spots.
Students have access to two pre-selected subject packages, one in Spanish and one in English.
Other subjects are usually taught in Catalan. However, most of the professors speak Spanish and English.
Applicants must have a B1 level of Spanish.
EINA does not use the OLA platform.
The Erasmus+ programme facilitates a semester-long academic study abroad for students from universities in other European Union Member States or other countries associated with the programme. This programme recognises credits earned at host universities.
Consult with your university's study abroad coordinator to see if there is an agreement between the two universities.
The UAB exchange programme facilitates a semester-long academic study abroad for students from foreign universities. This programme recognises credits earned at host universities.
Consult with your university's study abroad coordinator to see if there is an agreement between the two universities.
The SICUE programme offers undergraduate students the possibility to carry out exchange stays in other Spanish universities. For more details (financial aid, submission of applications, required documentation, calendar, etc.) please consult the UAB call for applications.
The Stay Programme of EINA, University Centre of Design and Art of Barcelona, is aimed at foreign or Spanish students who at the time of applying for a place have completed, or are currently completing, design studies (or similar) in their countries of origin, or in the rest of Spain, and who wish to complement them. The Stay modality is aimed at students from institutions with which Herramienta does not have exchange agreements. Candidates have to apply for a place and their acceptance will be based on the assessment of their file.

We have a package of subjects in Spanish and English with spots reserved for mobility students: International Mobility Syllabus.
If you enrol in subjects that are not on this list, please note that the language used by professors is Catalan or Spanish and you can only enrol if there are still spots available. This is our general curriculum: Design Degree Curriculum | EINA.
Check our schedules to choose subjects and avoid overlaps: Schedule (pay careful attention to the semester and the schedule).
