Purposes, legitimation and conservation of the processing of the data sent via forms on this website

Newsletter

Subscription to our newsletter or sending any type of information will be carried out in accordance with the Information Society and Electronic Commerce Services Act 34/2002, and users will be able to cancel their subscription at any time simply and at no cost.

Enrollment

Students enrolling at our school will have to complete the appropriate enrolment form, and once approved, applicants will be able to benefit from the status of EINA student and will be subject to the school's working regulations and to the following privacy policy: The student's data will be treated confidentially and will be part of a file, owned by EINA, used to process the enrolment, manage their academic record, the job bank and the practicals, and foster their participation in competitions or grants. These data will also be used to send them information about activities relating to EINA and the art and design world. At any time and at no cost, the person in question may unsubscribe from these communications about activities relating to EINA and the art and design world.

The recipients of the data will be EINA, the Autonomous University of Barcelona (UAB) and the UAB Postgraduate School, in the case of postgraduate courses, and the public and private agencies that are necessary to fulfil the above aims or because it is required by law. We will keep the data for as long as the academic relationship continues and to comply with the relevant legal obligations, and in the case of data obtained by sending information regarding the activities relating to EINA and the art and design world, until you instruct us otherwise.

User Rights

In accordance with the European General Data Protection Regulations and the Constitutional Data Protection Act 15/1999, of 13 December 1999, interested persons have the right of access, rectification, opposition and cancellation by writing to EINA Centre Universitari de Disseny i Art -†Passeig de Santa†Eul‡lia, 25 (08017) Barcelona, enclosing a photocopy of their National Identity Document, Foreign Resident Number or passport, or emailing privacitat[at]eina.cat.

EINA has adopted the necessary physical, technical and administrative measures to maintain the necessary level of security in accordance with the nature of the personal data treated and the circumstances of the treatment in order to prevent, insofar as is possible and at all times according to the state of technology, their alteration, loss and unauthorised treatment or access. However, EINA cannot guarantee that the website or the server where it is hosted are free of viruses and neither does it accept any liability for any damages that may be derived from access to the website.
