Modification

Before implementing changes to an officially verified degree programme, the proposed modification to the curriculum must be submitted for evaluation by the Agency for Quality Assurance in the University System of Catalonia (AQU Catalunya), within the framework of the VSMA programme. The agency assesses whether the modifications maintain the academic coherence of the degree, its suitability for the qualifications framework and the consistency between the educational objectives, learning outcomes, content and assessment systems. If the evaluation is favourable, the report is binding on the Council of Universities, which issues the corresponding resolution. Once approved, the modification is officially incorporated into the degree's report and its registration in the Register of Universities, Centres and Degrees (RUCT) is updated.

The aim of the process is to ensure that the evolution of the curriculum preserves quality standards and compliance with the current regulatory framework.
