Oriol Fontdevila

Oriol Fontdevila

He is a curator, writer, researcher, specialising in art and education. He holds a degree in Art History from the Universitat de Barcelona and a Master Exhibition Studies from Central Saint Martins - University of the Arts London.

He is currently studying on the doctoral programme in Humanities and Communication at the Universitat Oberta de Catalunya with a competitive doctoral scholarship awarded by the university.
 

Teaching

Teaching collaborator at EINA. Visiting lecturer in different masters and training programmes.


Professional activity

He has carried out curatorial projects at ADN Platform, Centre d'Art Tecla Sala, Centre d'Art La Panera, Museum of Contemporary Art Vojvodina, Centre de Cultura El Carme, Fundació Antoni Tàpies, Fundació Joan Miró, Centre d'Arts Santa Mònica, among other museums and institutions.

He has been a member of the team of the European project Performing the Museum and a member of the management team of Sala d'Art Jove de la Generalitat de Catalunya.
 

Publications

In 2018, the publishing house consonni published her essay El arte de la mediación, which is the result of research carried out with the support of MNCARS Museo Nacional Reina Sofía and La Virreina Centre de la Imatge.
