Lifelong learning studies can be divided into three categories: masters in lifelong learning, specialisation diplomas and specialisation courses.
To be admitted to a lifelong learning master's degree it is a prerequisite to hold, at the time of enrolment, a university degree or equivalent (EHEA bachelor's degree with a minimum of 180 ECTS credits; or a bachelor's degree, diploma or engineering degree prior to the implementation of the EHEA with a minimum of 3 academic years).
In the case of the specialisation diploma, students must also be in possession of a university degree or equivalent at the time of enrolment, and there is the possibility of access through recognition of professional experience (minimum three years).
To access a specialisation course, it is not necessary to have previous qualifications.
In the case of students with foreign degrees, please consult the requirements on the UAB website.
In order to access a specialisation diploma, it is possible to do so without a university degree, by accrediting equivalent professional experience.
Those who can accredit a minimum of three years of work experience in the sector, and that the work tasks carried out are related to the competences and skills attained in the university studies that give access to the diploma, are eligible to apply.
In order to recognise the professional experience, the interested party must submit the following documentation:
- Completed and signed application form
- Employment report (Social Security electronic office), or certificate from the employer with the tasks performed, and/or contracts related to the competences of the study.
- Detailed report specifying the tasks carried out and showing that they are related to the knowledge, competences and skills of the qualifications that give access to the Diploma for which you are applying.
If necessary, the study co-ordination will conduct an interview with the person concerned to verify the information and/or resolve any doubts.
The enrolment period opens in January and ends one month before the start of the course or until all places are taken. You can check if the enrolment period of the course you are interested in is open on their website.
In order to gain access to EINA's masters or specialisation diplomas, it is necessary to pass a prior selection process. This process is aimed at ensuring that the student has the necessary knowledge to be able to follow and benefit from the studies. Applications are processed on a first-come, first-served basis. The application is made online through EINA's online registration platform.
For the selection process, the coordinator will assess the academic background, the quality of the work (book), the professional experience and the motivations given. In addition, it is necessary to have the necessary entrance qualification.
To book a place, the student must follow the indications detailed in the acceptance document and formalise the payment of 50% of the total amount of the course, within a maximum period of 10 days from acceptance. After this period, if the place has not been reserved, it may be offered to another candidate.
EINA offers two forms of payment:
Single payment:
100% on receipt of admission and as a reservation of place.
Payment in instalments:
50%: on receipt of admission and as a reservation of place
50%: two months after the first payment or 15 days before the start of the course.
The original access documents must be submitted at the beginning of the course. The validation of this documentation is a prerequisite for the completion of the course. Failure to submit this documentation will result in the cancellation of the enrolment.
- DNI/Passport/NIE
- Passport photo
- Original university degree + certified copy
- Original personal academic certificate (transcript of records)
Compulsory documentation for foreign students:
- Certificate from the university of origin that the studies that give access to this Master's Degree or Diploma of specialisation are official, of 3 or more years, and that in the country where they have been taken they give access to the Official Masters. You can use the following form.
- Statement of equivalence of the average mark of the academic transcript of studies taken abroad, from the Ministry of Science, Innovation and Universities. You can access through the following link.
- All documentation issued in Catalan, Spanish or English will be accepted. Documentation issued in French, Italian or Portuguese can be translated by the UAB Language Service. The interested party must pay for this service and the costs it entails. In all other cases, it is necessary to attach the corresponding translation into Catalan, Spanish or English, carried out by a sworn translator, by any diplomatic or consular representation of the Spanish State abroad, or by the diplomatic or consular representation in Spain of whose country the applicant is a national.
- The university degree and academic transcript must be duly legalised or homologated by the Ministry of Education, Culture and Sport.
The legalisation of documents depends on the agreement signed between Spain and the issuing country:
_ Countries that have signed the Hague Convention: documents need only bear the appropriate apostille: List of Hague Convention signatory States
_ Other countries: the documents must bear the stamps of the following countries
* the Ministry of Education of the country of origin of the qualification
* the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the country of origin of the qualification
* the Spanish diplomatic representation in that country (embassies, consulates...)
The amount paid can only be refunded for reasons attributable to the school (such as changes of dates, cancellation of the course or other modifications). In exceptional cases, the student may submit a request, stating their reasons and what they have requested, which will be assessed by the centre's Teaching Committee.
In the event of not achieving the number of enrolments necessary to carry out the study, the centre may cancel the course after giving prior notice to those accepted. The viability of the course will be communicated one month before the start of the course.
