Martí Crisol has been selected as a finalist of the Catalonia Ecodesign Award 2025 with his Final Degree Project in Design Tamariua: morts de fondeig ecològics, a proposal that reduces the environmental impact of boats on the seabed.
The initiative offers an innovative and environmentally friendly alternative for anchoring boats in bathing areas or natural interest zones. Its goal is to prevent the degradation of posidonia meadows and other underwater habitats, while promoting more responsible practices in recreational boating.
The Tamariua project took part in Milano Design Week within the framework of Ecosystem Sampler: Sporal Properties, a collective exhibition organized by einaidea focused on speculative design and the relationships between technology, environment, and sustainability.
The Catalonia Ecodesign Award, organized by the Catalan Waste Agency, recognizes products, services, or projects developed in Catalonia that incorporate environmental criteria throughout their life cycle. The competition is open to professionals, companies, and students.
The award ceremony will take place on October 16 at the Palau Robert in Barcelona, where an exhibition featuring the finalist projects will also be inaugurated.
