Estudiants a Eina

Eina Acts: Connecting the city with Collserola

How can we reconnect with the territory that surrounds us? What proposals can make this border between city and nature more habitable, sustainable and inclusive?

Eina Acts is a transformative proposal that invites us to imagine new ways of coexistence between the urban environment and the natural landscape of Collserola.

Eina Acts is a call to action, an opportunity to design together a greener and more humane future through five workshops, led by the designer and biologist Jon Marín, and open to all citizens (high school students, university students of architecture, design, engineering, neighbourhood associations...).

Registration Open

Within the framework of the Architecture Weeks 2025, Eina promotes collective creation workshops where citizens and the agents involved can rethink and test specific actions for the ecological and social improvement of this transitional space.

With a critical and committed approach, Eina Acts is committed to an urban intervention that not only transforms the space, but also the relationships we have.

These five workshops connect the city and nature and seek environmental and social transformation of the environment between Barcelona and Collserola. Eina Acts invites creative professionals, high school students and neighbourhoods to participate, who, from their own perspective and experience, will work together to imagine and build an intervention that will have a positive impact on the environment.

The proposed improvement, both environmental and social, will be born from the knowledge of the people who live and pass through the territory every day, those who best know the real needs of their neighbourhood. Through an open and self-managed process, collective creation will be promoted as a tool for transformation, where the creative path will have the same value as the final result.

Workshop 1. Exploration and analysis
Date: Thursday, May 29, from 5 to 7 pm
Venue: Eina Bosc

After reflecting on the location and identifying possible areas of intervention, a tour is planned that the participants take with the creative professional. Along the way, three main activities are carried out: on the one hand, elements and aspects that could be improved are observed and photographed, possible spaces where action can be taken are also located and, finally, interviews are conducted with the residents to find out what they value about the location, what they dislike and what they believe could be improved in order to generate proposals for action.

Workshop 2. Inspirations
Date: Thursday 5 June, from 5 to 7 pm
Venue: Eina Bosc

To obtain references and sources of inspiration for the landscape intervention to be carried out, various works by artists, architects and designers are reviewed and discussed. A visit to projects that may serve as inspiration in this context or others can also be scheduled (Can Masdeu, IAAC, initiatives/community garden, etc.).

Workshop 4. Prototyping
Date: Thursday June 19, from 5 to 7 pm
Venue: Eina Bosc

In this workshop, a collective work session will be held with the participants, the neighbourhood entities and the neighbours, with the objective of prototyping the ideas that emerged in the previous ideation workshop. Through models or small interventions on the territory, the selected proposals will be visualized to evaluate their viability and adjust the necessary details. This process will make it possible to collect contributions from the different agents involved, encouraging an open dialogue that helps to refine and optimize the final design.

Workshop 5. Intervention design
Date: Thursday June 26, from 5 to 7 p.m
Space: Eina Bosc

Based on the analysis of the prototypes, the final design of the urban or landscape intervention will be carried out. This workshop will involve advice on all the necessary resources, both material and human, to carry out the project in the selected space. The participants will be an active part, ensuring that the action has a real and positive impact on the community. The whole process will be documented, both to generate dissemination material and to evaluate the results and learn from the experience for future interventions.

Taller 5. Disseny de la intervenció
Data: Dijous 26 de juny, de 17 a 19 h
Espai: Eina Bosc
