The aim of the Postgraduate Diploma in Graphic Elements Design is to train professionals in the sphere of graphic design and visual communication. It covers the specific features of graphic design, both in terms of objectives, analysis and planning and the resources and material or management and direction of projects. It looks closely at the knowledge of IT resources, typography, the graphic arts and the management and creation of applications and identity projects. It is aimed both at anyone with a knowledge of other design or communication fields and anyone with practical professional experience.

Module: Graphic Design Resources
Typography (40 h)
Introduction to the architecture of lettering, typographic composition and critical analysis and assessment of typographic lettering.
IT Resources (40 h)
Familiarisation with the use of the software (Illustrator, InDesign and Photoshop) specific to the design process and graphic production.
Module: Management and Production in the Graphic Design Process
Graphic production (40 h)
Study of the supports, printing processes and techniques and learning how to prepare originals for their reproduction. Knowledge of the professional relationship between the graphic designer and the printer.
Design project analysis and management (40 h)
Study of the creation, production, organisation and management conditions of graphic design projects and processes, from their beginnings to their final delivery.
Module: Graphic Design Projects
Graphic applications projects (40 h)
Completion of graphic design projects integrating the conceptual, creative and technical elements that involve different types of graphic applications.
Graphic identity projects (40 h)
Concept and conception of corporate identity projects as a communication phenomenon that affects all types of messages issued by a company or institution.
