Designer Rocío Rodríguez Hidalga, an alumna of Eina’s Bachelor in Design, has been selected to participate in CAMP10: INFINITE CHAOS, the tenth edition of the programme promoted by the Camper Foundation. Since 2009, the initiative has brought together young designers and international professionals in Mallorca for an intensive residency focused on research, critical thinking and collective creation.
Rocío’s participation stems from a workshop developed at Eina, further strengthening the relationship between the school and Camper as spaces for dialogue between education and contemporary practice. The project she developed during the residency takes her Final Degree Project, OXT, as its starting point, expanding the lines of research initiated in the academic context towards new formats and collaborative processes.
Under the concept of INFINITE CHAOS, this edition of CAMP10 brought together María Alborés, Lena Bernasconi, Isabela Bueno, Iris Gerbex, Florentin Mathon, Rocío Rodríguez Hidalga, Rémy Rossier and Noah Stanley, who worked collaboratively over ten days at Son Fortesa, Mallorca.
The outcomes of this experience will be presented from 20 to 24 May at the Mayrit Design and Architecture Biennial in Madrid, where the projects developed by the CAMP10 participants will be exhibited.
Rocío Rodríguez Hidalga’s presence in this international context reinforces the visibility of her work and highlights Eina’s role as a space for research, experimentation and active engagement with the contemporary design scene.
