Eina alumni and faculty recognised at the 2026 Delta Awards

Eina alumni and faculty receive several awards at the 2026 Delta Awards, reflecting the institution’s contribution to industrial design.

At the 2026 Delta Awards, the jury recognised both the achievements of established figures and the drive of a new generation of designers. Among the winners were leading studios such as Antoni Arola (an Eina former student), Emiliana Design, Lucid (founded by Eina former student Marc Fabra), I-MAS, Oiko Design Office and Pensi Design Studio.

The awards also recognised emerging talent, including Pablo Castillo, a lecturer on Eina's Degree in Design; the PongoTodo team, made up of Design graduates Lara Hernansanz and Guillem Solans, who received a Silver Delta Award for their project Bombón; and Pol Julià, an Eina Design graduate, who won a Silver Delta Cultura Award in the Publications category for Comissió Diògenes.

The Sustain Awards project, designed by Eina lecturers Jordi Pla and Jordi Blasi, received a Silver Delta Award. The jury praised it as "a brilliant, minimalist reinterpretation of a conservative market, demonstrating that celebration can be both highly customisable and deeply sustainable".

Pablo Castillo also received two Silver Delta Awards: one for Circulari, a children's furniture collection conceived around the principles of the circular economy and remanufacturing, an initiative led by Eina alumnus Carlos Jiménez; and another for Everest, a cutlery set that combines tradition and contemporary design with functionality and formal quality.

In Disueño, the new category dedicated to experimental projects that explore the boundaries of design through creativity, critical thinking and conceptual innovation, Estudi Toni Arola won a Gold Delta Award for its Metalamp lighting system.

All the selected and award-winning projects can be seen in the exhibition "Delta Awards 2026", open to the public at Disseny Hub Barcelona from 23 July to 6 September 2026.
