Anna Majó and Octavi Rofes, lecturers on the Bachelor of Design and the University Master's Degree in Art and Design Research (MURAD), will give the talk El todo especulativo: ficción, acción y educación en el diseño actual (The speculative whole: fiction, action and education in contemporary design) on 19 January at 3.30 p.m. at Disseny Hub Barcelona (Pl. de les Glòries, 37).
This intervention will take place within the framework of the conference "Imagining possible worlds: Potentialities, limits and frictions of speculative fiction in research and education", organised by the Esbrina Research Group and the CosiCosa association.
The event will also include the participation of Rafael de Balanzó, professor at MURAD, who will take part in the round of communications La ficción especulativa como forma de hacer posibles otras formas de diseñar y desarrollar entornos tecnosociales (Speculative fiction as a way of making possible other ways of designing and developing techno-social environments), which will take place on 20 January at 10.30 am.
The main objective of this conference is to bring together researchers, artists, designers and education professionals interested in this topic and to generate a transdisciplinary space for dialogue on the pedagogical potential of these practices.
