Food, Memory and Society Symposium: Call for Papers

‘Food, Memory and Society: the configuration of the gastronomic task' is the symposium organised by the Design History Foundation (FHD), which will take place on 28 and 29 November at Eina Bosc.

This event, coordinated by Amadeu Ventanyol, teacher of the Bachelor of Design, aims to promote a historical debate with the epicentre of Barcelona, World Region of Gastronomy in 2025, which will highlight the relationship that has always existed between food, decorative arts and design, which has always been very present throughout the history of Eina.

The FHD opens the call for its 5th Symposium to review the links between food, memory, society and design from a historical and interdisciplinary perspective.

The Call for Papers is open to professionals in the history of design, scholars in the humanities and social sciences, as well as academics in the field of gastronomy.
