Finalist project in the Spanish National Packaging Prizes

"The Real. Cocoa soul" project, by Marina Fortuna and Margaraita Bernstein, students on the EINA Bachelor’s Degree in Design, is a finalist in the Spanish National Packaging Prizes. The proposal was created in Packaging, Packing and Label Design, a course led by Jon Marín.

The proposed packaging uses sustainable material and adds a surprise factor when opened. Geometric shapes are a clear reference in origami, opening up like a flower. The material used is Crush 120gr organic paper, an eco-friendly material, manufactured by replacing 15% of virgin fibre pulp with waste processed from grapes, with 100% green energy and bleach-free. The base of the packaging is waxed and the sweets are directly in contact with it, so avoiding the use of an extra wrapper to protect the sweets.
