The Furniture Design Course, coordinated together with Mireia Riera and Pepe Cortés, became a benchmark for students in the 1980s and 1990s, combining theory and practice and giving students the opportunity to approach the professional world from within the school.
Between 1973 and 1999 he collaborated with designer Gemma Bernal. His work focused mainly on furniture, household utensils, and audio equipment. His creations stand out for their sober language and great functionality. Among his most significant pieces are the Arquímedes lamp series (1974), the Anagrama floor lamp (1975), the Eclipse table (1984), and the Ona tableware set (1992). His work has been featured in numerous exhibitions (Europalia, Diseño en España, Design in Catalonia, etc.) and has been awarded several Delta prizes.
The Board and the entire Eina community express our condolences to his family and friends, and our heartfelt recognition for his strong commitment to the world of design and culture.
