Eina: Barcelona's design campus
Eina is located in a privileged setting, at the gates of the Collserola Natural Park. Its campus consists of the headquarters in the Can Sentmenat Gardens and the facilities at Eina Bosc, with 1,500 square metres of workshops for creation and experimentation. A unique location where to develop advanced research in design and art from the three platforms that make up the Eina Foundation: Eina University Centre, einaidea and Eina Obra.
During the visit, the Mayor of Barcelona had the opportunity to see the complete refurbishment of the Eina Sentmenat facilities carried out to optimise and enhance the quality of academic development and improve the community experience. These works have been complemented by investments in equipment in the Eina Bosc workshops.
At this meeting, the mayor was accompanied by Mireia Escobar, director of Disseny Hub de Barcelona; Miquel Molins, president of the Board of Trustees of the Eina Foundation; José M. Milá, vice president of the Board; Alicia Núñez, vice president of the Board; Tània Costa, academic director of Eina; Manuel Cirauqui, director of einaidea; Pilar Cortada, director of Eina Obra; and Deepika Soler, representative of the students of the design and art centre.
