The proposed project is the restoration of a disused and fragmented building in El Prat de Llobregat. The commission consists of creating a home for two sisters who want to live in this space again, their abandoned family home.
The project consists of the restoration and adaptation of a building and a hen house in bad repair. The property has a building that is part of the original house, a precarious annexe and a garden through which the property is accessed.
The aim in the restoration is to create a small urban oasis and revive this forgotten space; turn it into a comfortable and welcoming home very much in harmony with the environment and with the significance of the buildings in the area, specifically with the agrarian park of the Llobregat delta. Local materials with personality, simple and functional, will be used.
