Teaching and research
Anna Bach is a professor of Practice at Washington University in St. Louis, United States, and a lecturer at Eina.
Professional activity
She holds a PhD in Architecture from ETSAB-UPC, a degree in Architecture from Aalto University in Helsinki, and a Master’s degree in Theory and Practice of Architectural Design from the Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya. She leads the studio Anna & Eugeni Bach (1999–).
Her work is structured around professional practice, teaching, research, and cultural dissemination. She has participated in the Venice Biennale on three occasions (2025, 2023 and 2016) and was co-director of the 15th Spanish Biennial of Architecture and Urbanism.
Projects by Anna & Eugeni Bach have been widely published and exhibited internationally. Their distinctions include the European Architecture Heritage Intervention Award (2025), the International CityScape Award (2024), and several FAD Awards.
