“Time becomes human time, to the extent that it is organized after the manner of a narrative; by contrast, the story is significant, to the extent that it sketches the features of the experience of time.” P. Ricoeur.
Intervention in space through which time is represented. Time understood as in Ancient Greece and the language chosen to make it possible is light.
Time is divided into three different but inseparable rhythms: Kronos, Kairos and Aion. Each is part of what comes before and what comes after to make them happen.
Kronos: eternal birth and death, the space between life and death, sequential, chronological and inevitable.
Aion: ecstasy, actions that are finite and from which results are obtained.
Kairos: opportunity, “here and now”, unique, and cannot be foreseen or planned.
Aims:
- To create a system of relationships that can display time in a material manner.
- To apply this system to transform the space.
- To transform the Eina entrance hall to change the perception of the space.
