Today's video games industry enjoys fast continuous innovation, as it is a highly competitive sector that is constantly evolving. In comparison, innovation in board games goes almost unnoticed.
This project aims to innovate board games, to update them using gaming resources and systems used by certain video game genres in recent years and adapt them to an alternative similar game and create a simple, intuitive and dynamic game system.
The game is based on the MOBA (Multiplayer Online Battle Arena) video game genre that combines action and strategy in real time and is characterised by each player controlling a single character and having a fantasy backstory that gives them meaning and identity.
We are looking for a conceptual illustration style to give the game an identity, representing the story and unifying the different elements of the game: box, board, cards, files and templates.
