The project consists of the creation of a vegetarian fast food and takeaway restaurant in the Gràcia district of Barcelona.
This 178 m2 restaurant includes a new service that is growing every day, the takeaway. It also has a cafeteria and self-service for cold dishes and desserts.
The premises are aimed at anyone who doesn't have much time for lunch or dinner but who doesn't want to forgo eating healthily. It also organises tastings, cookery courses, catering for companies and individuals, etc.
There are three main aims: The first, to relate the products consumed in the restaurant (healthy and organic) to its interior. The second, to change the concept of fast food to improve the aesthetic and functional shortcomings that these premises have. And finally, to incorporate sustainability in the materials, lighting, energy consumption, etc.
The main characteristic of this project is that there is nothing superfluous. A space has been created with the minimum that offers great spatial advantages with regard to the present state and where economical construction and furniture solutions have been sought.
