Eina alumni, finalists at the 2026 Junceda Awards

Several alumni of Eina’s continuing education programmes in Creative Illustration and Children’s and Youth Illustration have been selected as finalists for the 2026 Junceda Awards, organised by the Professional Association of Illustrators of Catalonia (APIC) to recognise excellence across different fields of illustration.

Eina alumni are represented across ten categories of the Junceda Awards, ranging from animation, comics and editorial illustration to advertising, press and projects developed for specific spaces.

Miguel Bustos, an alumnus of the Bachelor of Design and a lecturer in Creative Illustration, stands out with three finalist projects across three different categories. Joan Negrescolor, with three projects, and Adrià Ferrer Marquès, with two, have also received multiple nominations.

Eina alumni are represented in ten award categories, ranging from animation, comics and editorial illustration to advertising, press and projects developed for specific spaces. The 2026 Junceda Awards ceremony will take place on Tuesday, 6 October at 7 pm at the CCCB Auditorium in Barcelona.

The selection highlights the professional achievements of alumni from Eina’s Creative Illustration and Children’s Illustration programmes and their presence across different areas of contemporary professional illustration.
