Flavià Boleda brings Bolo 02 to La Mercè 2026

Flavià Boleda, former student of the Degree in Design, is taking part in the La Mercè 2026 festivities with Bolo 02, an evolution of Bolo 01, the project he developed as his Final Degree Project at Eina.

The proposal will be part of Glam Canalla: Nits al Nord, within the Mercè Arts de Carrer (MAC) programme at Parc de l’Estació del Nord. On this occasion, Flavià Boleda presents a new version of the project featuring several artistic collaborations, including Ruinosa y las Strippers de Rahola.

Bolo 01 originated at Eina as a research project exploring new ways of approaching the sardana, bringing it into dialogue with disciplines such as electronic music, jazz, photography, gastronomy and dance. Since its presentation as a Final Degree Project, it has been showcased in a range of cultural and design contexts, including Blanc!, Milan Design Week and Sónar+D, and has received recognition at the LAUS Awards.

With Bolo 02 and its arrival at La Mercè, the research initiated at Eina continues to evolve, exploring tradition as a living material open to new formats and forms of celebration.
