Camper and Eina launch a design laboratory with real in-store intervention

Camper and Eina have launched a new edition of their creative laboratory, a programme that connects students with international professionals to work on a real case: the intervention of a brand store in Barcelona.

Among the participants are students from the Bachelor’s Degree in Design: María Bergamo, Lucas Camacho, Àfrica Díez, Martina Escolano, Siomon Fernández, Zöe Matalon, Ana Palacio, Aleix Peguera and Zaira Soler, who are developing proposals directly applied to an existing commercial context.

The initiative, promoted by the Mediterranean-origin brand, is structured as a learning environment that combines research, project development and direct engagement with the industry. In this case, the central focus is to respond to a real briefing and translate ideas into a specific physical environment.

The programme began at Casa Camper with the presentation of the challenge: to intervene in the Camper store located on Carrer València in Barcelona, a space designed by Max Enrich. This approach introduces a key practical component, as one of the proposals developed by the students will be implemented in the store itself.

During the first session, participants visited the store together with the designer, which allowed them to understand the space, its constraints and the opportunities for intervention from a real-world perspective.

Subsequent sessions took place at Eina Bosc, where students developed their projects with the support of the Camper team and Art Director Ana Domínguez, an alumna of the institution, receiving direct guidance on their creative processes.

The programme concluded with a final presentation session, bringing together students and industry professionals and attended by Camper’s CEO, Miguel Fluxà, along with the brand’s creative team.

Through this initiative, Camper strengthens its connection with the educational sector and commits to a learning model based on direct experience, bringing students closer to the real challenges of design within the retail context.
