.able, the free, multimedia, visual journal that publishes research through images at the intersection of art, design and science, will be presented on 29 March at 6 pm in Hangar's Sala Ricson (Emilia Coranty, 16).
The event will begin with a talk by Samuel Bianchini, founder and editor of .able (École des Arts Décoratif - PSL, Paris), who will talk about the project and its challenges. Then, artists Francesca Cozolino (École des Arts Décoratif - PSL, Paris), Andrés Burbano (Open University of Catalonia, Barcelona), Pierre Puentes (independent designer), Guillem Serrahima Solà (Université Paris 8, Paris) and Mafe Moscoso (BAU, Hangar, Barcelona) will comment on their articles and artistic research as part of the dynamics of .able.
The dialogue will continue with a round table with Manuel Cirauqui (director of eina idea), Samuel Bianchini (.able), Ricardo Devesa (editor-in-chief of Actar Publishers and urban.next) and Anna Manubens (Hangar).
.able is an initiative of the Arts & Sciences Chair of the École Polytechnique, the École des Arts Décoratifs - PSL, and the Daniel and Nina Carasso Foundation. This journal, published by Actar Publishers with the support of more than thirty international partners, aims to reinvent how interdisciplinary research results and processes are disseminated through image-based formats.
