Inauguració del Pavelló Oriol Bohigas

Inauguration of Oriol Bohigas Pavilion

The EINA Bosc facilities house a building, built in 1956 and refurbished in 2022, which is one of the first works that Oriol Bohigas, architect, thinker, theorist and great friend of the centre, built in collaboration with Josep Martorell.

The inauguration of Oriol Bohigas Pavilion will take place on Saturday 17 December at 12h at EINA Bosc (C/ del Bosc, 2). To attend it is necessary to confirm attendance at this link.

The event will be welcomed by Miquel Molins, president of the EINA Foundation; the intervention of the architect Juli Capella; and the performance of the Chamber Group Corona Trio formed by Eulàlia Bohigas, flute; Gloria Bohigas, piano; and Beth Galí, cello; with the soprano Claudia Schneider under the direction of Eduard Comalada (cello). Xavier Olivé and Beth Galí were in charge of the staging of this event.

The Oriol Bohigas Pavilion was initially conceived as a sewing room and dormitories for the Hogar de Santa Marta, and is now a space used for teaching the Bachelor of Design, the CursO and the Master's and Postgraduate programmes, and for other activities.
