Dr. Anna Majó, lecturer on the Bachelor of Design, and Dr. Oriol Ventura, lecturer on the University Master's Degree in Research in Art and Design and the Master's Degree in Space Design: User Experience, have carried out the research for the study 'Claves sobre la contratación pública de servicios de diseño’ (Keys to the public procurement of design services), coordinated by Barcelona centre de Disseny and the Ministry of Science and Innovation.
The study, presented on 14 July, is an informative publication on how to successfully carry out the process of contracting design services by public administrations.
The aim of this research is to show the initial steps necessary to create alliances between public administrations and the world of design. It analyses the particularities of both parties, the areas for improvement, identifying meeting points and opportunities.
'Claves sobre la contratación pública de servicios de diseño’ promotes, through a proactive approach, a paradigm shift so that the process of procurement of design services is carried out in the most successful way and the relationship between both clients is more fluid.
