Carles Giménez has won a Bronze Laus, awarded by the Association of Graphic Designers and Art Directors of the FAD (ADG-FAD), in the category Students, with his Final Design Degree Project FOURTURES.
Carles, what has this award meant to you?
For me, it's a recognition of a job well done and a motivation to keep doing projects! After this strange year, be grateful for a reward like this.
Your project is a book and app that reinterprets a way of conceiving possible futures, based on the book "Four Futures" by Peter Frase. What made you choose this theme?
When I had to decide on the theme of the project I was very interested in political, technological, and social issues, so I ended up choosing a book that talks about the future of all three. And so, I started researching. In the end, my goal was to have the readers of my project ask the same questions I had asked myself.
Carles, as a recent graduate, how have you experienced your time at EINA?
For me, EINA has been a space to explore and discover what design is, a beginning. And now it's time to explore everything that comes.
