In Instant Workshop: A Burst of Collective Exercises to Rethink Production, Huaqian Zhang and Joan Bennàssar propose a laboratory for reflecting on one's own production from the unconscious, induced reverie, and collective delirium: "A classroom without a predetermined structure. A cinema without a camera or projector. A hypnagogic hallucination. A chain of events to sharpen the tools of imagination." Approaching the space of Eina Bosc and the practices of each participant through methodologies akin to altered states of consciousness, the workshop activities range from collages and exquisite corpses to the conceptualization of listening devices and kinetic machines, including outings to the adjacent Collserola forest, feral reading clubs, guided meditations, and collective periods of lethargy. The process culminates in an ephemeral audiovisual installation which opens to the public at the end of the week, where recordings, documents, and remnants of the collective experience are shared.
