As a result of my love for food, my interest in handicrafts and my motivation to do a project that is out of my comfort zone, Pirene was born: a personal work that brings together learning and research throughout the design process that lead to a Final Degree Project. The findings from the study of different gastronomic experiences was applied to the restaurant Pirineu en Boca. At the same time, all the relevant objects that intervene through the joint work between designer and artisan are designed so that the gastronomic products, the consumption ritual or the object itself communicate the values of craftsmanship and cultural tradition linked to the Pyrenees. Lastly, this work is also done so that diners can evaluate the experience, check to see if it works and see how it can be improved.
