La Madriguera

The result of this research is an action strategy to develop a pro-creative space based on increased spatial capacities to achieve harmony between individual rituals and shared user experiences. The contrast between ritual and experience is the basis upon which the project is established: two action intensities – intervention and conditioning. This division places the user in different situations, first as a viewer, experiencing the external stimuli from arbitrary intervention, and second as protagonist, taking decision-making power. The urban contribution allows a rigid organisation structure to be implemented, thanks to which the space can be put into the appropriate conditions. Also, adaptable doors and lighting personalise the space in line with specific needs. All these elements and the intention of designing according to the scheduled possibilities instead of defining specific cases means that the space can be arranged to embrace the five phases of the creative process.
