The design project aims for the stage presentation of the book by Gloria Fuertes Stories for 365 Days on the basis of a performed reading.
Divided into six categories that encompass all the stories (circus, nature, adventure, love and peace, fantasy), the book will be what is represented in this project in various spaces, adapting a multi-purpose theatre room.
The stage design revolves around a hanging dais. Visitors to the work will walk around it and they will be able to sit down on seats buried in the dais itself. This platform includes the different types of stage that there are in the theatre: Italian, Elizabethan, central and side, with the aim of being able to enjoy all of them in the same space and in the same work of drama.
Resources such as light and fabric will enable a driving thread to be established in the stage representation.
The main objective of the project is to break down the barrier between the stage and the stalls, calling for the spectator to be an active participant in the work, not in the theatrical aspect, but by connecting them to a shared spatial corpus in sensations and uncertainties.
