This project is located in Selva de Mar, a village in the Alt Empordà region, and consists of renovating a terraced house to create a new house descending from the one to the right of it. The houses would share the interior garden and so a new family home would be created.
The aim of this project is to create family resemblances between the two houses. To do this, the characteristics that define the essence of a space need to be defined to discover how these two houses could belong to the same family.
This would mean its architecture being in the style of a traditional Alt Empordà house with the characteristic post-modern style of the neighbouring house and a warm but fresh interior, with a colour palette that helps distribute and identify the spaces and gives its furniture and fittings a certain lightness.
The traditional touches will endure in its décor and modern furniture, with a hint of colour that reflects the uniqueness of Port de la Selva and Selva de Mar, transporting you to the Mediterranean.
