Co-Hostel CDQ

Co-Hostel CDQ

The aim of this project is to transform the house where I have spent all my summers since I was a child into a collaborative hostel, creating a space that goes beyond superficial aesthetics and welcomes and celebrates the community. With the desire not to lose the essence of the house, this project seeks to balance modern elements with the cultural roots of Cadaqués.

The house, personally designed by my grandparents in the seventies with the purpose of creating a house focused on family and the concept of home, is characterized by its typical architecture that reflects local tradition. The idea of preserving the authentic spirit of the structure, integrating the cultural wealth it contains, guides my approach to interior design. With this project, I am not just redecorating spaces; I am creating a continuity with the past, an extension of the history that has already been written in this house.
