Cafeinado

The aim of the project is to create packaging for a brand of coffee whose unique feature is that it provides consumers with the amount of energy they desire at a given time. As a result the Cafeinado brand offers at least three different intensities of energy, 40%, 60% and 80%.

Cafeinado also comes in six different flavours: natural cereals, wild flower, fruits of the forest, citrus, dried fruit and natural honey. Each coffee flavour comes from different fair trade agricultural regions.

The packaging design seeks to adapt to these values and disassociate itself from existing packaging within the fair trade environment. In graphic terms, this is expressed through vibrant and intense sweeps of colour designed to reinforce the idea of energy, using a gradual colour progression from weak to strong to provide a visual indication of the potential of each packet. The printed designs and sweeps of colour relate to the taste of the coffee.
