Noa Eshel - Cacerola+

Cacerola+

A single, multipurpose saucepan which resolves the most basic cooking problems. Designed for creative people, open to the aesthetics of a product and looking for functionality and simplicity in the kitchen. There is no age or gender limit.

The aim was to design a utensil that would be versatile in the kitchen and that could be used both for cooking and serving. The materials used are stainless steel, Thermolon® and different types of plastics, such as Santoprene TPE-coated Bakelite (it makes the handles softer to the touch), polyamide and silicone. Cold flow-turning and stamping was used to manufacture the metal parts, and some parts have been tooled and soldered. All the plastic parts were injection-manufactured.

The functionality of the product is greatly increased as it has adapted to a whole range of uses. Both the ladle-rest and the lid fastening system operate by means of attachments on the saucepan. The saucepan accessories (e.g. the steamer, neoprene cover, pot stand and ladle) extend its functionality.
