The project consists of crockery for a specific type of food: Brotzeit, a Bavarian dish.
The collection, designed to enjoy this daily ritual in the home, stands out for its ease of use, the clarity of its shape and for being highly practical when it comes to storing it, and also for its ability to reinterpret tradition.
In this set for 4 people, the 3 individual elements and the 14 common elements are linked through their applied graphics: printed images of Bavarian animals, in both high and bas-relief.
Four materials have been used in line with the characteristics of the food: porcelain to hold wet elements, glass for liquids, linen for accessories and wood for solids. The wood is dishwasher proof.
There are numerous production technologies: ranging from the porcelain industry with isostatic printing for plates and collage with moulding for the bowls, the glass industry for the jug and glass manufactured with mould-blowing, right up to the workshops’ semi-industrial production process with woodwork and the textile industry for the linen basket.
