Balneari

Balneari is a centre for the creation and exhibition of plastic and visual arts in the building of the former Balneari de la Font Pudosa spa in Banyoles.

It is designed as a centre where different artists and creators come together, a meeting point, a learning and reflection space, where the space and its tools are offered to users to enable them to experiment and express themselves fully. On the one hand, it seeks to encourage production by local artists and meet their needs, and, on the other, to be a place that welcomes new proposals from all over Catalonia where knowledge is exchanged and more emerging artistic views are brought to Banyoles.

The aim of this renovation project is to recover an emblematic building, currently in ruins, as well as expand the network of cultural institutions that identify our town and include a new space at the site devoted solely to the arts.
