Lola Lasurt (Barcelona, 1983) holds a degree in Fine Arts from the UB, a postgraduate degree in Aesthetics from the UAB and the Master ProdArt in Artistic Production and Research from the UB. She has been artist in residence at HISK, Gent (BE); La Ene, Buenos Aires (AR); Kunsthuis SYB, Friesland (NL), at Greatmore Art Studios, Cape Town (SA), and at Hangar, Barcelona. She is currently completing an MA in Artistic Research at the Department of Arts and Humanities, Royal College of Art, London.
With her projects, she works on aspects of dis-time, eschewing historical doctrine as an open and self-critical enterprise. She formalises her artistic research through pictorial installation, video, and collaborative processes.
