Jordi Ferreiro (Barcelona 1982) is an artist and educator.
He combines teaching with artistic practice and cultural management. He has carried out individual and collective projects in Z33 (Belgium), Galería Zacheta (Poland), Museo del Oro (Bogotá), Lugar a Dudas (Cali), Academia Valand (Gothenburg), Museo Cerrillos (Chile), Gaîté Lyrique (France) and teoría / ética (Costa Rica). Locally, he has carried out projects with institutions such as the MACBA, the Museu Nacional d'Art de Catalunya, the Matadero, La Casa Encendida, the Museo Thyssen-Bornemisza and the Centre d'Art Fabra i Coats, among others.
Teaching
He currently lectures on the Artistic Research I and Artistic Research II modules, and collaborates with the Master's Degree in Cultural Management at the Universidad Carlos III de Madrid and the Master's Degree in Artistic Mediation - PERMEA in Valencia.
Outside the university sphere, he collaborates with the mediation departments and public programmes of MACBA, Fundació Joan Brossa, MNCARS, MAC and Arts Santa Mònica.
