He has been an architect since 2002 at the Escola Superior d'Arquitectura del Vallès (ETSAV) with the Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya (UPC).
Teaching
He has also been a professor in the Master's Degree in Landscape Architecture at the UPC.
Professional experience
He joined Batlleiroig in 1999 as head of the graphic and technical development of Enric Batlle's doctoral thesis. In 2003, he consolidated his position as director of the Landscape Department and in 2014 he became a partner with the firm, where he participates in making strategic decisions. He is currently in charge of the Landscape Department and leads a team of architects specializing in urban planning and landscaping.
During his 23 years of experience working at the firm, he has been involved in the design and development process of a wide range of projects, all of them related to urban planning, landscape design, and designing the public sphere from a landscape perspective.
Throughout his work experience in the firm, he has had the opportunity to participate in several conferences with different themes, all of them related to his work within the company. Some of them are directly linked to specific projects, such as explanatory conferences for the Metro Madrid project, Gran Via Hospitalet Sector 1 urban planning, Vallbona Park, and the Riera de Sant Climent urban planning project.
Some of his conferences have presented a theoretical theme about landscape, such as the conferences on "Circular Economy", "Rain and Landscape", "Technical Transformation of the Landscape", "Water as a Landscape Generator", "Sustainable Urban Drainage Systems (SUDs)", and "Cradle to Cradle". These conferences have allowed him to raise awareness and provide information about public spaces and landscape dissent through different institutions and cities in the country, such as the COAC (Official Association of Architects of Catalonia), MBLandArch (Master in Landscape Architecture at the UPC), AMB (Metropolitan Area of Barcelona), and conferences in Terrassa, Seville, Mallorca, Valencia, and more.
