Aida Sánchez de Serdio Martín

She holds a degree in Fine Arts from the University of Barcelona (1994) and a PhD from the “Visual Arts Education” program from the same university with the thesis Relational Politics in Collaborative Artistic Practices. Cooperation and Conflict in the Development of a Community Video Project (2007).

Teaching / Research

She is a professor of the Bachelor of Arts, the Bachelor of Primary Education and the Master of Cultural Management at the Universitat Oberta de Catalunya. Previously, she was a professor at the Faculty of Fine Arts of the University of Barcelona (1998-2013) and at the Faculty of Architecture of the University of Umeå in Sweden (2014-2015).

Professional experience 

She has been an advisor for Education and Publics at the Museo Nacional Centro de Arte Reina Sofía in Madrid (2015-2017), and has been part of the educational programmes Zonas de Contacto (Contact Zones) (La Virreina Centro de la Imagen, 2010-2011) and Pedagogías de Fricción (Joan Miró Foundation, 2014-2015). She has also collaborated with projects and organisations such as Artibarri, Transductores and the Francesca Bonnemaison Women's Culture Centre.
