The first-year students of EINA’s Bachelor of Design present the installation "InSubMissió" (InSubMission) at Lluèrnia, the festival of fire and light, at the Passeig Basaltic-Fluvià Riverside in Olot on the 12th and 13th of November.
"InSubMissió" is a cry for the need for a change of perspective to recover those lost pleasant sensations provided by the relationship between human bodies and natural spaces.
The installation, developed by students and teachers from the Projects subject, understands the existential vulnerability and precariousness that we experience today, understanding that these are not limited to the body of an individual cut off from the rest, but begin significantly from the social fact.
"InSubMissió" provokes distance with the hegemonic culture and the elevated political and ideological discourses in the field of human-nature relations, situating itself, as a form of resistance, in the arena of the marginal. The project has the spirit of play; it intervenes in the basic functioning of sensorial and affective behaviour, and it amplifies our habitual emotional response to the cries of nature.
