Alumni and teaching staff of the Bachelor of Design, the Diploma of Specialisation in Creative Illustration and Visual Communication Techniques and the Specialisation course in children’s and youth illustration at Eina are taking part in the exhibition Illustrated Worlds, Junceda Awards 2024, which opens on Wednesday 7 May at 6 p.m. at the García Márquez Library.
The exhibition, organised by Libraries of Barcelona and the Professional Association of Illustrators of Catalonia (APIC) brings together the award-winning and finalist categories of the Junceda Awards linked to children's and young people's literature and in book form.
On the opening day, 7 May, there will be a round table discussion at 18:30 with Roser Capdevila, Naida Mazzenga, Cristina Spanò, Juan Romero Corell (publisher of Litera). Moderator: Christian Inaraja. Guest bookshop: La Pequeña.
The exhibition is part of the programme of the Mundo Libro Festival, curated by Anna Juan and Piu Martínez, which takes place on 24 and 25 May at the Centre de Cultura Contemporània de Barcelona (CCCB) and the Gabriel García Márquez Library.
