This summer, students from Eina’s Bachelor’s Degree in Design are taking part in a new edition of BASS (Barcelona Arts Summer School), an international creative laboratory bringing together 150 young artists from 41 countries to develop collaborative, interdisciplinary projects.
Over several weeks, participants will work in multidisciplinary teams, encouraging the exchange of knowledge, experimentation and artistic innovation in an international environment. The programme offers a unique opportunity to share working methodologies, expand professional networks and tackle creative challenges from a cross-disciplinary perspective.
BASS is jointly organised by ESCAC, ESMUC and the Institut del Teatre, with the support of the Government of Catalonia, the Spanish Ministry of Culture and Barcelona City Council.
The projects developed during this edition will be presented to the public on 17, 18 and 19 July, showcasing the outcomes of the work carried out by the international teams. The presentation schedule will be announced shortly.
Participation in initiatives such as BASS reinforces Eina’s commitment to the internationalisation of education and to promoting shared learning environments that connect design, art and other creative disciplines within a global context.
