Eina Collserola Public Sphere — Water Paths, CartEAUgraphie & Resilience Thinking Walkshop presents the results of the SIT-PLU research project (Situated Practices for the Pluriverse), focused on examining the role of water in shaping the territorial configuration of Collserola, Sarrià and Barcelona.
The exhibition traces a historical journey through the lens of resilient design, beginning in the 4th century with the figure of Saint Eulàlia, linked to the desert of Sarrià, and extending to the contemporary creative spaces of Eina Bosc and Sentmenat. This narrative positions water as a key element in the social, cultural and territorial definition of the landscape.
Currently, Eina operates as a Living Lab, fostering socio-ecological cooperation between city and nature. The exhibition brings together contributions from students of the University Master’s Degree in Research in Art and Design (MURAD), artist Catie de Balmann, Arte Zahorí, urban planner Francesc Magrinyà, the collective SITESIZE, and professors Tania Costa and Rafael de Balanzó.
The set of interpretations and practices developed within the framework of the project Eina Collserola Public Sphere offers a pluriversal and forward-looking reading of the territory, opening the door to imagining more resilient futures.
