The pandemic has scarred us all for life. We have never wondered so much about the past, the present, and, above all, the future. With the creation of a Pandemic Tarot, I illustrate and conceptualise this period in a visual way. I intend to make us question ourselves and ourselves through carefully designed cards. For the execution of this project, dialogue is created between manual, digital, and performative ritual techniques and between the card shooter and the audience.
The deck of cards used for the performance consists of 22 Arcans Majors cards and cloth, all screen-printed by hand with gold ink. The commercial edition consists of 22 Arcans Majors cards printed in black and white on card paper, an explanatory booklet, and its corresponding packaging.
