Restoration of a second family home in the province of Ciudad Real

The aim of this project is the restoration of a two-storey second home in a town in Ciudad Real where there is no building control, like m ost towns in Spain.

The restoration project is based on the balanced reduction of the interior space and the subsequent recovery of the exterior space of the house, and also on a spatial compositional treatment of a wall that will articulate the ground floor.

The intention of the project is to adapt the house to the needs of a family of ten, while providing the building with a new spatial identity. Now that the family has lived in the house, they now need the house to receive them.
