Patchworm is a creative tool for blind children between the ages of four and ten.
It is conceived out of the need to create a product that might facilitate sensorial and creative learning for the children in question. At the same time it seeks to be a new tool for educators and parents that might substitute and complement the material that they find themselves obliged to invent and develop themselves. On the other hand, it is attractive for seeing children and can help facilitate the integration of children with and without seeing impairments.
Patchworm is a set of pieces that have different surface materials that can be drawn on or used to represent images in two dimensions, using wool, Velcro, magnets, conventional stencils, PVC stencils and magnetic rubber.
