ORAIA. Camino sostenible

The design proposal presented in this project is aimed at solving some of the main problems in shoe recycling. To do so, it will be necessary to make a brief review of history and pay attention to such important aspects as the current socio-cultural context where concepts such as identity and accessory will be dealt with.

Designing avoiding the use of new raw materials, that is, betting on the use of recycled material as much as possible and relying on adhesive-free and heat-assembled joining methods, since these are some of the reasons responsible for the difficulty of recycling, are the main objectives of the project. As well as the creation of an accessory that the user chooses because he feels identified by his values and wants to wear satisfied and convinced.
